Many of you may have seen me talk and write about “Everything with Intention” – in the early days of Crystal Bar Soap this quickly became my personal motto. Now, I know many of you may ask “What is Intentional Living?”, I wanted ot explore this idea with all of you now.
Intentional living in simplest terms is just that, living with intention.
Intentional living works by selecting your actions based on your personal morals; my goals are to live a cruelty free and sustainable lifestyle and I attempt to make sure my actions and my purchases reflect this goal.
I think that we often hear these words and create a our own definitions that seem to exceed our own expectations but in simplest terms living with intention is just that, living with intention.
I’ve been listening to a new audio book lately and in it he teaches you to write your goals, to create intentions and push them into the world but the interesting thing is not to focus the who, what, where, when and how. Simply what do you want, write it down and move on. Then, do it again, do it in the morning, do it at night, but do it constantly. Overtime what he noticed is some goals would come in go but others were consent, I believe those consent goals are his true intentions.
They should and will be different for everyone but just stop and ask yourself a few questions to start but try and think of this daily; its a very good practice to adapt into your life and as your age these goals will change your individual growth will excel compared to not setting these intentions.
- What goals do you have for your life?
- Is your current life helping your work towards your goals.
- What changes do you need to make in order to live the life you want?
- Do you have people in your life that support you and your goals?
- What are you currently doing that is helping you achieve your goals?
Answering these questions will allow you to expand your mind and ignite your passion to life your life with intention.
